Military Radio Museum and Wireless Workshop For Sale.
The Museum is being sold along with the Property

The equipment in the main display is in very good condition and working order.
I have used a lot of the transmitters and receivers on the amateur bands.
Any renovations have been done with taste and great care, the AR88 for example was re-black crackled, re-Letraseted, re-caped and realigned.
On the 38 set I fitted new modern replacements inside the original capacitors, I replaced some of the rubber wiring
with the same colour wire taken from rubber three core flex.
I built a mains power supply to provide 3 volts for the heaters and 150 volts HT.

There are a lot of items in the loft, I have only photographed some of them as they are difficult to get at.
Also only a general idea of the spares available, most of the loft items will require renovating, some I bought for spares.

The collection has not as yet been open to the general public, only online, the collection is contained in the pottery built above the garage.
The throughput of visitors would make opening to the public a practical proposition if one so desired.
The area has a lot of radio connections, the site of Marconis first transmission from Poldhu to Newfoundland
is located 2 miles along the cliff  they have a visitors centre and the Poldhu Amateur Radio Club.
The old Bass Point Telegraph site, Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station and Porthcurno Telegraph Museum
the old Cable and Wireless Site, are all open to the public.

The Potters Wheel shop is currently run as a craft, gift and clothing shop, but when the current tenant finishes,
it could if one so wished be use as a museum, there are lot of options with the property.
If you have any questions we shall be pleased to help any way we can.
