Over the last 20 years my collection of furry friends has grown, it started in1988 two years after we bought The Potters Wheel and moved to Mullion Cove Cornwall.

I had always liked Teddies and selling them in our own gift shop was an open invitation to indulge my passion.

A large proportion of the collection came from the shop which is now online.

Allen my husband is just as enthusiastic when it comes to collecting bears, as he is with his own Military Wireless collection also on this site.

Here we enter the inner sanctum this will be familiar to fans of Lara Croft, not a tomb in this case just our hall.

More bears why the one above has a dog sitting on his head I'm not sure.
The chap in the hammock sleeps his time away.

TV bear holds the doors open while we view, the chaps with red hats pay jingle bells at Christmas.

On the right above teddy cushions with lazy bones bear.

No room for people on the settee, "dog replacement" Our daughters work above cross-stitch.

Teddies snowman friend and Lazy bones and Steed in close up. The pair on the right are keen bird watchers.

A previous passion above and the landing bears. Christmas candle bear and those chaps that like a warm spot.

Using the dressing table can be a bit of a problem, two bears above who like a little
drop of the hard stuff now and again, more now judging by the empty bottle.

Star gazer bear a great fan of that lovely man Patrick Moor.
A married couple above and bed time bear ready for his nap.

A dog and a lion oh well variety is !! The chap above belongs to my husband Allen and for those cold nights
a hot water bottle bear. Below and on the far right above are Barnabas and Chad who sleep on the bed.
I found Chad at the flea market in Truro when he was looking for a new home,
his young owner had outgrown him, fortunately we have never grown up.

Barnabas has been with us for 20 years, a very wise bear.
A lovely painting called "Don't Cry" by Elizabeth Parr. Money box and pendant Bears.

Lots of Colour Box bears, sadly the company is no more Peter Fagin had such a wonderful touch.
Above Tigger wakes us with Come on buddy bear we've got some bouncing to do.

Keeping time in the kitchen and cooking while listening in.

Winnie supervises the cooking while these bears keep thing cool.
Above and below teddy mugs by the ton, not used for drinking out of of course.

These two chaps check the other line a little gruff some times.
PC bears above keep their eye on us and assist with any computer problems.
