The Potters Wheel started life as a wooden hut called The Ark in 1948, ten years later it was renamed "The Potters Wheel".  Three owners later in 1974 it was bought by the artist Mollie Fisher, who in 12yrs of ownership had the small building to the left of the shop, a garage and pottery workshop built.

In 1986 we became the proud owners, running the shop very successfully  for 9yrs  selling a wide range of  goods  from Buckets and spades to Indian Clothing.

The Potters Wheel has been leased out from 1995 to date March 2006.
